English Courses in Brighton

Enroll in EF’s English courses in Brighton and experience resort-style language learning in a carefree coastal city of artists and sun-seekers.

Study English in Brighton and discover why this fashionable seaside city is often called London-by-the-Sea. EF’s English courses in Brighton are held in our historic language school building, with views of the sea and the elegant green squares dotting the neighborhood. Our school is situated in the Kemp Town neighborhood, a short walk from the city center and a five-minute stroll from the city’s classic pebbled beaches.

EF Brighton goes beyond English courses to enhance the language learning experience. Our traditional British townhouse is equipped with bright classrooms, a student lounge complete with billiards table, a bustling cafeteria and a full-time activities office. Our exam preparation classes ready students for higher education in Great Britain, while the EF Internship Program can provide you with international work experience in fields such as tourism, marketing and media arts.

England’s Hip Seaside City

Brighton is a dynamic city on England’s south coast, located only an hour from London but with its own distinct identity. Brighton has been a place that attracts Britain’s elites since it was founded as a resort destination by Victorian royals. Today’s city welcomes a blend of vacationing celebrities, students from three local universities, London trend-setters, bohemian artists and a growing community of surfers.

Brighton’s biggest attraction is its beaches, some of the best in all of Britain. Outside of your English courses in Brighton, head to the city’s pier, an assortment of amusement park rides, shops and restaurants extending over 500 meters from the shore. Go beyond the coastline and Brighton’s urban personality reveals itself. Wander among the quaintly cobbled streets of the Lanes, a trendy shopping area as good as any in London. Taste Brighton’s legendary nightlife after the sun sets by dancing the night away to one of the famous DJs that often come to the city. For some sightseeing, explore the Royal Pavillion, a stately residence that looks more like the Taj Mahal than Westminster Abbey.

    Giulia

  • “A must-see is Notting Hill. We strolled through Portobello Road, the main street, and it was wonderful. It was just a perfect outing!”
