Student Accomplishments Oxford’s outstanding students are praised for their exceptional achievements in a diverse range of fields and activities. This year’s accomplishments include: • Gold medal at the Mathematics Olympiad • 3 students being nominated for the Global Young Leaders Conference • Silver winner of Duke of Edinburgh Award • 45% of students achieving A* grades in A-level exams (5 times national average) • Top UK university acceptances from University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, University College London, University of Warwick • A very impressive 6 acceptances for Medicine and Dentistry, considering an overall acceptance rate of 2% for Medical schools.
Academic projects Our enterprising and talented students have successfully participated in a wide variety of challenging and rewarding events and competitions including: • World Challenge Trip to Morocco – 10 students • Participation in Economics conference, London • Participation in Mathematics Olympiad • CAS Projects – helping deaf and children with learning difficulties play football • Interactive session with a Member of Parliament on British Politics • Group 4 science project • Sociology Seminar • Internships for students aiming for Medicine and Oxbridge • Enterprise week and debating competitions
Student clubs and events Our range of clubs and activities develop leadership, team and interpersonal skills, as well as nurturing creativity and promoting cultural diversity. Clubs are also a great way for students to make new friends and have fun. Field trips EF International Academy organises numerous excursions and university visits throughout the year.
